Hi all...I posted a month or two ago about a weird letter I got from NCO regarding my X.Com account. (This account has about $700 left on it, and except for one payment made 10-days after it was due, has never been late. I have continued to make PayPal payments, and have gotten statements showing those payments being applied) Anyway...NCO sent me a letter offering to settle for a lesser amount...after reading about NCO on this board, I decided not to respond to them. Kept paying EMCC, and kept getting statements. Now I get a letter from an attorney pleasantly threatening to sue if I don't make arrangements to pay off this debt. Has anyone else had this experience? Suggestions on what I should do? thanks!
No, I haven't had any problems. Sounds like some kind of mistake. I think I would call and see what they say. Isn't there a number somewhere? Scarey!! Maybe I'll pay mine off. breeze
