We are considering re-financing our home and our credit is much less than good right now. One place that apparently does some sub prime loans etc. is Franklin Bank in Rockford Illinois. Does anybody know anything about them? Good, Bad, or otherwise?

I know of first franklin but not franklin bank. I would check with them, there are many lenders that do subprime loans. My question to you is WHY do you think you are subprime? If you arent too shy about it post your scenario..you may be better off then what you think you are and some mortgage goo roo's on here can help ya out in figuring some plans of attack to get you where you wanna be.

I noticed on your website that you now do mortgages in all 50 states. I wonder what you could do for DH and I here in Washington State? What about hard inquiries, who do you pull credit through? CREDCO or ?

it really depends on the lender I use......sometimes equifax and sometimes credco, csc, or landsafe. I totally appreciate any business that I may get but I do want to remind you that if this is a refinance then always check with your current lender first. Whether its a purchase or a refi always check with the bank that you do your banking with. ANd then if you need to get a quote after that contact a lender/broker that will help you.
