You guys will love this. It's a FICO style credit score and it's as accurate and dead on as it can be. The guy who wrote this calculator has got the logic of FICO figured out. Check it out, it's just a few simple questions to get your results.

I just want some of you to have a good laugh. Just so you know, it's a random number generator.

So how is this different from real fico scores? :)

It's nearly identical to real FICO scores, that's what makes it a hilarious joke to brighten up the CNetters days.

I have 777, 729, 715 and it says mine is 675. It does not take into consideration a lot of info.

FICO FARCE . . . FICO is Frivilous . . . FICO is a random number which may go up or down with no changes on any of your credit reports. Yes, I made the site as a JOKE on how FICO numbers appear to be pulled out of somebody's rear end at will.

Yeah it really brightened my day. It said mine was 495 LOL And that is with NO bad TL's, 3 yrs of oldest acct and 10+ tradelines. Funny thing is I looked at it online (the real FICO) and it was 695.

Actually you can keep hitting your browser's refresh or reload button until you see the score you want. It's just a random number thing.

Re: Re: Free FICO style score

At first, I didn't allow 8 to be in the first digit, because I think the real FICO only goes up to 850 and I couldn't restrict the second digit if the first digit came up 8. I couldn't figure out an easy way to do a true 400-850 random number generator, so it is the digits 4-8 (with preference to 5 and 6) followed by the digit 0-9 twice. It seems to me, FICO likes everyone who doesn't have truely perfect credit, or totally ruined credit to have 500-699 range FICO scores so those values have an increased likelyhood of arriving so it's not really fully random.
