The TU free score site now asks you to name the business that denied you credit within the last sixty days for the freebie. Huh, now what? Suggestions? BTW, I finally summoned the courage to check mine last week (before the change). It was 622. Now I'm trying to check my wife's. I don't want to send them $8.50.
Ok how about some logic to this problem... Check "I believe there is fraud on my account" because When you see your report, there is probally something that you want to dispute. And we all know that no one here would dispute something that was actually their debt, so they must be not ours or fraudulent????? Makes sense to me. Plus I tried it yesterday and it worked. First time seeing my TU report. Was not worth the wait but we will see when they clear some of those accounts off of there that are not mine.
Perhaps not for everyone, I was able to get a free report yesterday without that question. Though, I have been denied in the last 60 days. ?
Good Call! Got my wife's score; 642. Married twelve years in a community property state and her score is 20 points higher than mine. Who says chivalry is dead?
