OK. Here is the scoop. I called the collection agency that was handling that account with the attorney that agreed to remove the collection from my credit reports. I was told (very rudly by the way) that it will be removed in the tape for OCTOBER. Can they wait that long?
Prior to credit repair I had establish a credit card for 2 years for rebuilding credit, had gotten all my charge-offs deleted and added one AU which helped alot My negs were pretty old and out of SOL range so it wasn't too hard to get them removed.
Kinetix, I mostly have student loans as my major problem. The rest are CC that I have some ideas to deal with. I have made some progress. But the student loans, On some I have disputed and got a deletions, others verification. I owe them all and their is no SOL on those things. They are all in default and rehab will take a year. ANY IDEAS, they are my only major hinderances
You know, from reading this board student loans are pretty tough to deal with, and I don't want to throw just any idea and make you out to be like some guinee pig (spelling heh?) but anyways, the only experience to be upfront with ya I had was getting his two lates removed for my brothers student loan, the fact that he paid alittle more than monthly due I assumed helped in getting those removed fairly easily. I don't know what your plan is, if you simply just want the deletion I'm sorry I can't really be of help here, but if you have an alternative plan such as working out a settlement for deletion/pos tradeline, the idea I have in mind is, in speaking with fla-tan he mentioned that he specialized in student loans.(I believe rehab old student loans in consolidation) He maybe the person to talk to regarding that, I'm not quite sure weather your able to obtain a loan to consolidate and settle out your old ones, don't know if your seeing where I'm getting at. I never got into specifics as to what exactly involves student loans on his part as I was mainly discussing mortgage loans with him, give him a buzz and see what he says or recommend.
