Time to file against Experian. I checked with the Secretary of State's Office for Texas and there and three different enntities registered:

    Experian Services Corp.
    Experian Marketing Solutions, Inc
    Experian Information Solutions, Inc

They all have the same agent for service.

I can find nothing in their correspondence beyond "Experian" and would like to make sure I file against the the right entity.

If anyone know which one I should go for, I would be very grateful.

    CA is right... :)

Basically, if the division of Experian you're suing is the CRA division, that's Experian Information.

But, they're no longer their own company, they're a subsidiary of another company, and have been (silently) since 1996, unless you dig around their site to find this out.

So there is a much bigger pocket than just Experian's $2.3 BILLION + annual sales itself... :)

From Experian's press release disclaimer statements.

    "About Experian

    Great Universal Stores, PLC. :)

    From their history page.
"In 1996, GUS acquired Experian, one of the largest information services companies in North America. This was combined with CCN and followed up by further acquisitions in 1997 and 1998 to create a global information solutions company."

It pays to know your enemy... ;)
