Hello - I was wondering if anyone could tell me a somewhat easy furniture store in Florida to get approved for credit. City Furniture/Ashley/Badcock/Brandon, etc... My scores are not too good: 540/590/650 Also, does anyone think a co-signer would help? Thanks!
Co-signer would be mom so certainly hope that's wouldn't affect our friendship! Just trying not to have to use her help - would like to do it on my own.
If the problem is that you have limited credit history, and your mom has good credit, maybe you could have her put you as an authorized user on one of her cards with a long positive history to boost your scores enough to open an account under your own name. She should keep the AU card, since you are not doing this to actually use it. Once you have established enough good credit of your own, you can have her drop you off.
