In my quest to have some inquiries removed I was forwarded to the fraud department at EXP. Unbeknownst to me, after being prompted to key in (via telephone) some personal information, a recorded message said "you have just placed a fraud alert on your credit report... a message requesting a consumer fraud statement will be forwarded to the EQ and TU.. goodbye". I was expecting to get a humanoid after keying in all my info. No such luck. I have since removed the fraud statement form TU and EXP.

My proof that the CRA's are truly inept is that in classic CRA style, Equifax sent me a letter saying the "information provided was not sufficient, please send further proof of identification." I had no communication with EQ and the request for a fraud statement made placed by EXP! What a bunch of pathetic clowns!!!

A CRA IS NOT ALLOWED TO PUT A FRAUD ALERT FOR YOUR STATEMENT UNLESS YOU WANT IT!!!!

    "NOT MY STATEMENT--REMOVE IT"
