FUSA - Still pending after 9 days?

Has anyone applied with FUSA lately? I applied 9 days ago and the automated system still says the application is pending and I'll hear in 7-10 days.

Is this probably a decline, or does the automated system actually let you know if you're declined?

Thanks George. I tried it and they said they couldn't tell me anything on the phone and gave me the number 888-338-2586 to call for automated status. I tried again just for jollies....

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait.

It was the Reader's Digest Platinum. Has a 6-month 2.9 intro with a go to of 9.74.

We're in an applying frenzy right now, so we'll see how it ends up. We know the inqs are going to kill our scores, but we're using the lines for some business financing (so the high utilization is going to end up killing the scores for a few months anyway) and that 6 month intro should work out just about perfectly.

If they jack us after that, then into the sock drawer they go for ratios.

Once we've finished the frenzy, I'll post on the results. They've been decent so far, we're pleased.

Thanks for the warning. We're definitely not expecting much out of them, the track record seems pretty clear. And, we always keep a card clear for a quick BT if something really serious crops up.

Hopefully we'll manage to use them for the 6 months and what happens after that when the balance is zero really won't matter much.
