I applied about a month ago. Was approved for 6000 at prime + 2.99. After hearing other people explain the problems they had, including bouncing checks, I took someone's advice here and deposited one of their checks for 4000 into my own checking account. I didn't use the money until I checked my on-line account to see if the monies were deducted from my LOC. Everything seems to be fine.

Believe me. You're talking with a guy that only had a JC Penney card (300 limit) and a Providian card (500 limit) two years ago. I had my own derogs and someone elses to on my credit reports. I'm a long way from there now.
