FYI- I received my Experian credit report today, I re disputed one item. It was not removed, but one that I didn't dispute was- a paid charge off. It was for $303 Mervyns. I wrote them a blah blah blah sad story loyal customer letter about 2 months ago and never heard anything from them. This item was charged off in 1996. Was it my letter???? Also for anyone who wants or got an Am Ex secured Optima- American Express checked my credit on Oct. 14 and my check cleared on Oct. 16. As of today i still haven't gotten my card. And Citibank also checked my Experian report on Oct. 12 the night I applied online and received aproval for the AAdvantage card.
