In the last set of statements I received, AmEx informed me that the Best Value Guarantee will be cancelled on all Optima cards (this includes Cash Back, etc...) after April 1, 2003. They also had this printed on my Business Gold Card statement. For all their card accounts, after 05.01.03, they won't honor price matches from the internet. The cash advace APR is going up to Prime + 14.99%. The late fee will be increased to $35 if your balace is $1,000+. Wow....
