Someone recently posted a similar experience. Last night I had a call from ("Mr. Unavailable") according to caller id. Said I had been approved for a bank card from the distribution center. I can't remember if he said Visa or MC or anything like that. I said, "and ...", he asked me if I had a checking account, I said yes. He then asked me if I had a credit card for more than $500. I said yes. I didn't give out any other info. I said I wasn't interested, but he had already hung up after I said yes to the credit card over $500 question. Anyone else had a similar call?
I received a similar message on my answering machine. I recall it saying it was from a "distribution center". I was tempted but I didn't call it back. I would love to know whose "list" I'm on.
