    Hernando,

We'd be glad to help you out but you need to be more specific to your situation.....

Did these people (CA) actually take you to court and get a judgement against you for this amount in which you are paying them now??

If so do they have a court order allowing them to garnish your wages??

    What state are you in?

Is your wife on any of these accounts?? If not she can not be held liable for your debts if she is not a signer on them. They can try to go after marital accounts but, it is a heck of alot harder to do if they are joint and the person sharing the account has nothing to do with the debt.

As soon as I started this credit repair thing and started to piss people off, literally, I removed my name from all banking and checking accounts. It was strictly in my wife's name. She got me a second mac card to use in her name and when I get paid I hand the check over to her anyway, like a good little husband, LOL!! I know, I know pathetic!! LOL!!

Not that I expected to be sued but I was just being prepared for the worst, since my attorney in PA says that's about the only thing a person with a judgement in this state could go after.

I am lucky that I live in PA, there is no such thing as wage garnishment for judgements, only the IRS and child support!!

They can't take your car if you own it outright either because that is your primary transportation to work!!

    Gotta love PA!!

If they did not take you to court and you are only paying them because you wanted to make good or did so because you were uninformed or scared that is all right....

Stop paying and send them a Cease and Desist right away!

If on the other hand they have an actual judgement I can only advise you to speak with your attorney as he would be more able to give you the right advice in your situation and state.

    I wish you luck!

    Tac
