In order to further my credit endeavours, I would now like to apply for a gas card. With about 600 credit (now) is it possible. If so, what do you reccomend applying for? I, like anyone else, don't want too many inquiries without corresponding tradelines. Thanks in advance.

What I was kind of asking for here was personal testimony. What cards could I get with a 600 score.. that sort of thing.
I heard Chevron has a "credit builder" card. I don't know much about it, because there is no way to apply for it directly. You need to apply for their card, then if your scores are not high enough for the standard gas card, they'll most likely approve you for the credit builders card. You may be able to call them and ask about it.
