Well, Asset Acceptance decided to take me to court.... I got served with documents stating that I owed around 1800 bucks and I had a court date...

Well, low and behold, I faxed my documents to my lawyer and he said "MAKE A DEAL!!" He said it would be a bad idea to get a judgement and garnishment. So, I called these guys back... said I didn't want to goto court and said... "Lets make a deal!" Well, I got a supervisor on the phone, said... I'll give you 800 bucks... he said no, 1300, I said 900, he said 1000, I said done... Got them to fax me a document stating that it was paid in full for the said amount... called them back and paid them over the phone...

Now, I have disputed them on EQ and TU and am waiting on a response... hopefully they fall off... but I doubt it. It took AA 4 years, but they got there money...

    THIS SUX...

anyone else have a problem with them? Have to pay? Did anyone get a pay for deletion?

A little over ayear ago before I knew about this website I had bills that I was paying off and just paid them off, and a year later, disputed it and now it just shows paid on my cr. No paid collections/collection account. Give it a couple more years and they wont even remember who I am..hehehehe...
