Hello everyone..been reading a lot of good information on this site and I can say I have learned a lot of stuff here. Anyway, here is my story with Equifax for now. Pulled my credit file and I have one collection account and one charge off. The charge off is with Home Shopping Club and GE Capital Credit Services has this account. So I send out the CMRRR requesting validation to this address: PO Box 2904 Shawnee Mission, KS 66201-1304. This is the address that shows in my Equifax report. However, usps returns the letter saying its undeliverable. So I now dispute with Equifax and am still waiting for results. BTW, I also did send the validation request to the other collection agency prior to disputing with EQ. The other CA is Marlin Integrated and their address is in Philly, PA as shown in my EQ report. From what I have been reading, both these addresses have not come up in my reading. Did anyone encounter these addresses from these CAs? As for the other two CRAs, I have another collection account with Arrow. I am now waiting for the results of the disputes for this one. Let's see if they verify without validating. Any info with GE Capital Credit will be helpful. Thank you everyone on this board. Never thought I would have the power to fix my credit report.
