I made 18 year-old son AU ON AMEX BLUE...NOW MY 18 YEAR-OLD SON IS MY NEW SPOUSE!!! DID AMEX MESS UP OR EXPERIAN...OR BOTH??? WHAT IF I DO AN AU FOR MY "REAL" WIFE??? BIGAMIST???
GEORGE....EXP is totally messed up like that. My friend got a copy of her report and it had her SISTER as her spouse! She called them and got that fixed. I'm still trying to figure out how it happend. At one point, she considered adding her sister on to one of her cards (but not give her the card) just for the trade on her report (she had CCB and FCNB and wanted to get away from them but couldn't). I told her that it wasn't wise because that would leave a gateway to her sisters bad credit to show up on her report. I guess she must of went ahead and did it anyway and that's how her sister got reported as her spouse.
Aren't YOU the one who has been asking questions about how to get $100,000 in credit cards to start a business? He didn't say he wanted another card...he is talking about adding "authorized users" to his account.
Hey, Experian recognized my partner as my spouse before Vermont did! George - it's an Experian thing. Equifax and TU don't make the assumption that AU or joint account holder is a spouse and add that to your personal info. I wouldn't sweat it, although since it's your son, that may be a little creepy : ) Based on everyone' s lovely experiences with Experian, good luck getting anything fixed! -mj
AMEX Blue, applied, instant response three days ago, 9.9% fixed. 0% purchases for 6 months, 5K line. Called and griped em out about the 5K line and asked for the "max." They came back with an 8K offer today. Just FYI. EQ FICO about 678-702 CE Score about 703-715
