NO GEORGE IS NOT SHOUTING! We have already established that. If you have been on this board for a while, you would have seen George's disclaimer on the bottom of all of his messages.

George is a GREAT GUY. If you dont like it, please dont read it.

Please lets keep the board CIVIL!

    Thank You,

This is the funniest thread I've read in a long time.

I have no probs with George, aka Mr. Black Cloud. Do I think he's 'screaming'? absolutely -- because that's what typing in all caps is for whatever reason. I, and most other posters, don't mind, so what's the big deal?

Like I said b4, if you don't like his -- or anybody's style of posting, just skip over them.

What I find totally amusing is that George hasn't even responded to this absurd thread!!! Hehehehe

In his signature line, George states that he's not yelling and that caps are easier to read. Maybe they are for him.

AND, if I remember correctly, George does like a zillion things at a time and uses caps for those other things that he is doing. Remembering to undo your caps lock for one window out of a half dozen is pretty tough.

So, just skip over them if you can't adjust. Most of us have been reading them that way for a while and are used to it.

YES.................I WAS STAYING OUT OF IT...

I don't have to be here...I like helping other people...
NOBODY helped me, till last year when I found this web site.
I read every single post, even ones that don't apply to me, like BK, COLLECTIONS, SCHOOL LOANS, LATES, OVER-LIMIT...
I went on the "WAGON" because I was told to for my own benefit.
    MY F.I.C.O. IS 685-698...shooting for 750-800.

Read it or don't read it.
IF YOU SEE GEORGE...JUST SKIP IT...

F.Y.I. as stated above I have "CASE SENSITIVE" PASSWORDS, and I don't spend ALL my time here...

One more thing, I have gotten used to using NETSCAPE, so I can't increase the size of the words.

Ok I'll have to jump in and comment as well. George has been helpful to me and I look forward to his posts and don't even think about CAPS anymore.

Re: GEORGE- Anyone think he really

George has been a contributor to this board for long time. Those of you who have been around a while know that all-caps are part of his style. Personally, I do not mind his extensive use of all-caps so long as members understand he isn't shouting.

However, we have had an influx of new members on this board, some of whom take offense to all-caps. This is understandable. After all, net etiquette dictates that use of all-caps be reserved for adding emphasis only. The only reasonable way to preserve such etiquette is to encourage people to adhere to it universally.

Should use of all-caps actually cause a rift between members we would expect anyone using them to find it in their hearts to comply with net etiquette, if for no other reason in the interest of maintaining peace on this board.

    Thanks,
    pbm

A fix is forthcoming. The problem with Netscape not resizing fonts will be addressed in the next site update scheduled later this week.

FYI, the problem appears to lie with Netscape's support for CSS which apparently is pretty buggy. The fix consists of using Javascript to docwrite different styles based on browser rather than linking to an external css file for all browsers.
