I called today to CONFIRM...IT'S CLOSED!!! NO OFFER TO KEEP IT OPEN!!! They gave my wife 7.99% (BT and PURCHASES~~FIXED) to keep it open!!!! GO FIGURE!!!
Yeah, they didn't offer us anything either. The CSR I spoke to sounded as if my call was a nuisance for her. As you said, THEIR loss, not OURS. I had a little empowerment from AT&T Universal last week. They reduced our APR to %9.99 and bumped our credit line up about $3000. Why? "Because of improvements to your FICO score". Exactly the opposite of what we heard from Chase. BofA also bumped our line of credit up to an amount that we will never need, also because of FICO improvement. So, AT&T and BofA think that we are good for their business. Chase thinks otherwise, %24.24 APR before we made the final payment. Simple math, isn't it? Bye Chase. PawMix
Re: Re: GEORGE - Chase EVEN THOUGH MY F.I.C.O. IS A "YO YO" & RNG (MY OPINION) 665-739...I OWE TENS OF THOUSANDS LESS NOW...THEN WHEN I APPLIED FOR CHASE OVER 2 YEARS AGO!!!!
Re: Re: GEORGE - Chase Same here George, same here. We owed a nice chunk more than we do now on the cards when Chase accepted our application. The original terms were 0% on BT for 6 months then whatever rate, but the rate was NOT %24.24. And down the line, the less we owed on the cards and the better DH's FICO was getting, the more unfavorable terms we were getting from Chase. Account closed. End of story. PawMix
Re: Re: Re: GEORGE - Chase OUR "CHANGE IN TERMS" was only going to be 16.24%...2.00% HIGHER THAN AMEX DELTA GOLD...AND I GET MILEAGE...as if I would even pay 12.24%
Re: Re: Re: GEORGE - Chase What is funny was I was on the 0.00% BT when they did the "CHANGE IN TERMS" NEVER GOT THE NOTICE!!! They said they mailed it...SO I GOT IT!!! I paid ON-LINE...so I didn't even open the bill (IF I GOT IT) it was not ON-LINE ON THAT MONTHS STATEMENT!!! (THAT I SAW) They refused to extend the time...after the 0.00% I was supposed to have 11.24% THEIR LOSS
