This was supposed be humurous. I hope you have read my previous post in this thread. Here is a cut and paste from above: George, I did not mean it in a negative or condescending manner. I wrote the message in a fun spirit. My question in the end was supposed to be sarcastic in a humorous sort of way. It is, in a way, good to know there are such committed members in this forum.

I did read it. Did you read Georges' response a couple of posts up? "I can leave anytime" I don't think George is amused.

George, 1. I hope you understand that my post was written in a fun spirit and was in no way to â??discourageâ?? or â??blameâ?? you ot anyone in any way. I enjoy being here and I enjoy reading everybodyâ??s posts including yours. 2. This board has a character. All members have their own way of adding to that character. You have yours and I have mine and so on. I respect your style and your opinions. Just as I respect everybody else's. 3. I like the board and I admit, in the short time that I have been here, I have become addicted to this board. I would like to keep it this way, and in no way intend to send a condescending/negative message or cause ripples. 4. This post of mine picks on some aspects in your posts like being addict, large signature, keyboard in hand, soft vs. hard posts, etc. All of these were sent in a funny and joking sense. In fact, some of these picks actually apply to myself. I am proud to say I am a credit net addict. However, if I have offended you in any of these comments, I am sorry. 5. Please stay. I was ecstatic to find this board because I was simply amazed by the knowledge and compassion that many board members, including yourself, exhibit. In the short time of less than two months, I have actually started relating to many of the board members, including, of course, George. 2. I have been active on this board and in the time that I have been here, I have learned a lot and I believe I have started to contribute at some level. I would like to keep it that way. 3. I have contributed to some messages and I have replied to several membersâ?? private email messages and I have made some suggestions that were referred to by pbm as excellent suggestions. 4. I found your post in this thread a little cold. I believe everybody likes George and at the same time everybody picks on him. There were others who replied on this post as well. In addition, there have been several threads where people have made to similar comments. I have said many good things to George as well. I would like you to see the other post with my alteration to Quixote's Crowd Cheering graphic with George in the middle. That was a certainly a nice gesture and a way to show my appreciation for George's contribution. 5. Having said that, you are right if I (or others) have made George feel unwelcome here, all I can say is, that was CERTAINLY not my intention.
Whether you found my post "cold" or not, personally, I don't care. It was to make a point that obviously George was a little uncomfortable with it. That's it - nothing more. So, that being said, it's over with. Although I appreciate your lengthy post, it wasn't necessary. Is it ok to poke fun at someone? Sure. But it was becoming an ongoing, exaggerated event. You know what I'm saying - the first time is funny, the second is not so funny, the third starts to become annoying and the fourth, fifth........etc. In any event, it's over and done with. There is no problem from my point of view. And, although I used your post as an example, my post was not made directly to you. It was in general.
