Does anyone know where I can get just my credit score online. Most of the sites want to give you the full report. Also, does your credit score go up when you are disputing?
Equifax Try equiifax credit watch, it's a free 30 day trial, then it is 79.00 for the year, you can access your score 24/7, just make sure you cancel in that 30 days or you will get billed, it's your fico score and it's pretty good. Also what I have seen is that when you do investigate an account, good or bad, your score will go down, but once done it should go back up depending on your situation.
If you register with e-loan (www.eloan.com), you can get a credit score for free. You dont need to apply for a loan, just register an account with them. Make sure you opt out of receiving emails or phone calls from them. The credit score is based on the TransUnion credit score. It is similiar to, but it is not the same as your FICO score.
I wouldn't even bother with a score from transunion, it's not a fico score, most creditors use the fico score.
