LOL, the closest Wally World to me is about 15 miles away and the town has a population of about 10K. I passed by there on my way to work. At 6:45 am you couldn't stir them with a stick in the parking lot.

"My" Wal*Mart (the one nearest me, although there are actually two in the city) is normally a 24-hour store. But they closed for Thanksgiving and were reopening at 6 AM. At midnight, on the way home from our Thanksgiving celebration, I went by just to see what the place looked like with the parking lot empty.

There were people going into the store (workers). I guess they worked all night to stock the shelves and put everything in the middle of every aisle for the 6 AM rush. I missed it--I slept in.

We worked around the house on Friday and didn't go out until late. We went to a pizza place for dinner about 10 PM, and THEN I went to Wal*Mart. Got in and out in under an hour at that time, but there were still a fair number of shoppers. More than I'm used to. I normally shop after 11 PM, often after midnight.

As for the LOONS, Butch is right. They're just trying to destroy this country. All they want to do is complain.

When I was in California, there was a big protest against all the corporations and all the consumerism, etc. The people professed that they wanted a return to simpler lifestyles. You were supposed to give up your car, not buy gas, etc.

Funny thing is, one of the reporters tailed these people when they left. Guess what a lot of them drove? They parked several miles away and took public transportation so it would look like they gave up the "corrupted" lifestyle. But a lot of them took public transportation back to where they had left--their SUVs!!!

A lot of these people just want to stir things up!
