Go to www.nbc10.com before midnight tonight and go to consumer alerts.

You get your Transunion report, your true FICO score and a lending analysis.

    It expires at midnight.

TU will give you a free report w/o all the extra steps if you go to transunion.com. Order a personal report and tell them you were denied credit. I believe you can do it once a week or so.

While that is true, TU won't give you a fico score with a free report.

In theory, this is also a free FICO score.

    In theory.

In practice, the promo code does not work. Earlier the site did not work.

The web is so mercurial.. much like the women I'm attracted to...

Is that just the TU report? It looks like some kind of hybrid. There are things on there that I've only seen on Exp.

Yeah. Just the TU report only. The site is really weird, it was up for a while, now it is offline for maintenance, what a mess!

It worked for me earlier in the day. I had to keep hitting the stop button in my browser, then hitting refresh, after about 5 tries I got in.

I was surprised to see my TU FICO at 688 already.

I started my mission to 720 on October 1st and thought it would take at least a year. I need a new car and I can get a 0% for 72 here with a 720.

That is better then paying cash!

    I am only 32 points away :)

I have no derogs to dispute on my TU so all of this gain has come from paying down utilization and combining my 2 MBNA cards.

Oh, and sh!t canning that lousy Providian card.

I am alittle leary of sending my SS# and my bank account information via email. Isn't anyone else afraid to do this?

How were you able to access the system? Did you recieve an email containing the details? I've sent emails all day and have yet to receive a reply.

I got an email right away. It had alink to knowyourloanrate.com and a promo code to use for a free report.

I did not have to provide any banking or payment information.

I just sent them a blank email. It did not include my SS#.

I sent a blank email too and got a reply immediately...went to the site, entered ALL the required information...then it timed out on me! UGH

Got an email stating it was online with a link. The freakin link DOES NOT work! So, I went thru all that to get nothing! I sure hope it isn't a "hard" pull by them....

Well, yes however they asked for my information as like I wanted to refinance my mortgage.
Which makes me wonder if they are pulling a CR for that purpose...IE like eloan.com

    This is what it says:

KnowYourLoanRate has already accessed your credit report and generated your score based on the information you provided in the order form. You will have access to this information once we obtain the rest of the information necessary to provide you with your loan rate.

No. It's just like pulling your own credit report, if you were applying for a mortgage, ALOT more information would be asked of you on ALL 3 reports, here all they pulled was TU.
