Hi, I am curious how business credit works and how to get more of it. I own a small business and I know we have a pretty good credit rating because whenever I apply for accounts using the business only I am approved every time.

However, it seems like most applications for business credit also want information on the President, officer, owner, etc. I have never applied for these because I know once they see my personal credit (which is NOT good) I'd get rejected.

I am just wondering how it all works. There only seem to be a few companies who will offer me a credit line in just our company's name (without needing personal info.) Does anyone know of any more? I'd like to develop more credit in our company name.

My best business credit comes from AMEX. My consulting firm has close to $100,000, CreditWorks has close to $100,000 from AMEX and Advanta. I also have business credit from Citi via a take over of AT&T Universal Business.
