I've been at this since 3/1 and have sent out numerous dispute and validation letters. I've been able to delete several tradelines. My question is, within the last few days I've received two calls from NEW CA's(they left messages). What's this all about??? What's weird is that these CA's do not show up on my reports at all!? I've read a couple of posts regarding waking sleeping dogs, could that be what I'm doing?
It is possible, send them cease and desist.. I think that some CAs will just sell off the debt if you get them on validation, and then the new CA is all gung ho in the very beginning, but of course they can not validate the debt.. on goes the process... But this also could have nothing to do with recent dispute attempts.
Thanks! i just faxed a C&D. the CA left a message on my machine just stating her first name and telephone number. i called the number back(they were closed), but their machine gave me the business name. i looked them up on www.bbb.com and got a fax number and all their info!! couldn't be a new collection because i have no new accounts or bills. kinda confusing, but i have all the tools HERE to fight to the end!!
