I have a new card with Cap1 which just hit my Experian report. However the Experian field called "Credit Limit/Original Amount: " is listed as N/A. How can I get CAP1 to update Experian with the actual credit limit? Planet Feedback, a call, or a letter? Any recommendations?
Don't feel alone. We CapOne card holders are all in the same boat. CapOne refuses to report limits. Many of us have asked but their position on this is unyielding. Some of us here, myself included, have gone through Planet Feedback to get limits reported but this is something CapOne vehemently opposes. What many of us have done is make a big purchase, max out the card and pay the balance as quicly as possible. Good luck. I wish I had a better answer. Donna
I bought a notebook computer at Sears for a few thousand and once that posted to the account, I used Yahoo Paydirect to charge the rest (around $560). The next week I took the Sears computer back for a full refund and credited my PayDirect Account. By doing all this, I got my high credit within $2.00 of my credit limit. Hope this helps,
Can't I just mail a Xerox copy of my Cap1 statement to each CRA for proof? Has anyone tried that route?
SOME PEOPLE HAVE...WORKS SOMETIMES. MAY HAVE TO DO IT MORE THAN ONCE. REMIND THEM ABOUT "COMPLETE AND ACCURATE"!!!!
