Getting my CR - Who deserves my $$

It looks like I have several choices for my CR. I want a tri-merged so I can have a clear picture of the reports, I want it online and I want the ability to know my FICO and be able to dispute incorrect items online first before I go into Paper, Ink & stamps.

I would also like something that monitors my CR and alerts me to changes.

Experian offers a program, and so does what appears to be TU. Is Myfico.com associated with the "big three"? I'm leaning to towards myfico.com

    Any caveats?

IMHO Myfico.com if you want the accurate fico score with the reports. Mine cost me like $10.35 each with FICO score, I used a promotional code, if you do a google search for myfico promotional code you should find sites that list the codes/coupons. They offer monitoring too, but I think it monitors the TU score quarterly, but I don't recall - you could look into it =)

Equifax's 30 day free trial lets you pull daily reports and notifys of changes.. but that's only for THEIR reports

Experian only gives you one report with theirs...

    Not sure about TU

Privacyguard is good for monitoring, but the scores can be close but can also be WAY off base.

    Is that at all helpful?
    Good luck

Thank you..yes your advice is very helpful.

My feeling is that myfico is the best way to go for right now...as I need something for all three and get an accurate scoring.

What you say makes a lot of sense to me! Thank you.

actually, they give you a 3-in-1 (all 3 CRAs), monitoring, and you can pull a current report whenever you want to. not sure how often they update tho...probably every 30 days.

    its called "Credit Expert".

its the only one i have, so i cant really tell you which is best.

privacyguard is $1 for two months. You can see all your three reports. the only problem is the score system is fake.
