Has anyone had any luck in getting positive tradelines reinserted? If so, how? Before I found this board (BIFTB) I used a credit repair company. Just for one month before I smartened up - but late enough for the idiots to dispute my POSITIVE tradelines and get a closed NEVER LATE mortgate deleted! (Good testimonial for NOT using one of those companies!!!) I've been trying to get the CRA's to reinsert - no luck. I finally called Equifax and asked them if they would reinsert. They told me ONLY the creditor could do that. So, I did call the creditor (Chase) and they said ONLY the CRA's could do that. The classic run-around... At least the rep at Chase gave me the address and fax number for a different department so I could write a letter. Hopefully they CAN reinsert - but if not - at least hopefully I'll have a letter from them saying they can't reinsert - ONLY the CRA's can. Has anyone had experience with this? Mommy2cats
I do not know about Efx. or TU, but I disputed some lates on hubby's Exp. report, they removed the whole tradeline, he called, they transferred him to special handling dept. they reinserted w/i 10 mins, w/the lates still there, had to redispute the lates
I disputed a charge off and they CRAs deleted all trade lines I had with that particular bank. I actually called the bank and told them the account numbers that were deleted. They pulled their archives and re submitted the accounts back to the CRAs. The good thing was, they reinserted the good ones and not the bad ones.
