I got discharged chp7 a few months ago. I just got a copy of my credit report from myfico (experian score power report) and everything looks like it should. All the credit cards show included in bk. I was looking at the negative remarks and it said I was considered past due on $13000 in student loans, the reason said "voluntary withdrawn student loan". It also said that I was $0.00 overdue??? I don't get it. My loans have been in deferrment for alomost a year, as I made sure I did that before bk. I have never missed a payment and the report says so, so why is it now a negative listing? I am going to consolidate my loans with a new rate and the deferrment runs out in dec. What gives? How can I remove this information? I called Mohela and they verified that I had never missed and was not late, yet they had to report me to CRA because of the bk. Any answers here? By the way, considering that I just went through bk, I think my score of 604 is pretty good...thanks for any replies

Ask them to explain how you could be past due if your loans are in deferment until Dec.?

They are reporting INCORRECT INFORMATION to a CRA and they need to correct it or else you will sue.

Also, If they are able to report to the CRA they are also able to remove their TL with the CRA, ask them why they have not done that

yeah, I thought something was fishy. I will have to call them back. Is there a letter here on the site for warning someone that if they do not change something you will sue?

Did you ask them how a bk changes the history on the loan?
Also just how does being Neg. on other accounts give them the right to list a positive account as a neg. account?
    EANIEACKS
    Where's their sign?
