Hi everyone, I've been lurking around and reading for a while and wanted to say thanks for the great tips. I just received my credit reports and was hoping for some feedback on my strategy. From what I've read here, I would need to: 1: Dispute TU and EQ's current addresses on my file. (They are not where I live presently.) 2: Dispute 2 paid chargeoffs as "not mine." 3: If they come back verified, contact OC for validation. (Note: One chargeoff was through Citibank, but I paid it through a CA. The tradeline is under Citibank though.) 4: If I get blown off or an unsatifactory response start with the "Nutcase." Do I have everything right? Also, my reports show a judgement for the other chargeoff, even though it never went to court. My fiance had paid it off. How does that public record effect my chance to delete the chargeoff. I tried finding it, but maybe I missed it. Thanks so very much! K
My reports show a judgment for the other charge-off, even though it never went to court. livininva ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> IF it never went to court there can't be a judgment.
