Went to myfico.com and I see they'll give me all three credit reports and the FICO scores from those 3 CRAs. I was under the impression that the actual FICO is not a number generated by any one of the CRAs. So how do you get your actual FICO? And what's the most cost effective way to see FICO and the other 3 scores. I know I can pay $10 to PrivacyGuard for the other 2 scores - it gives me EQ (my lowest of the three - 587)
MYFICO.com gives you your REAL FICO score. The score on PG is a Credit Xpert score. If I were you and I wanted my real FICO scores, I'd pull Equifax and Trans Unions from their site since they offer the REAL FICO score (Becareful with TU because they offer a FAKO also). For Experian, you have to get it from MyFico because for whatever reason, Experian only gives a Fako thru their site. BTW, the credit reports that are pulled with the FICO scores are much more in detail when you get them directly.
