We should probably assume that it's a typo.

I have not used this, but I ran by a web page tonight that offers free FICO. Here's a quote from that page:

"My E-LOAN®® will give consumers their Fico score, interpret it, provide information on how score was determined, and offer generic advice on how to fix it, for free. It will also provide a full credit report, for a fee."

    I read this at http://eloan.com/s/show/media/ame022200

Suggestion #2: You could do a stupid thing and apply for a mortgage and get a copy of your credit report complete with FICOs from the potential lender. Stupid? Yes. You don't want an inquiry on your record, which lowers your score. You want the score BEFORE applying ... even if you have to pay to get it.

That score they give you is total Bullshit. I just pulled it and they said my score was 636. And on minutes later I pulled my true fico that i paid 9.95 for from mytruefico.com and it was 696 an 60 point difference. I would take that score with a grain of salt. Actually i wouldnt take that score for anything but a random number those scammers at Eloan pulled out of their asses

I am not sure if its a ture FICO score but there are a number of places that will let you get your credit rpeort for "free".. well techinacly its not completley free. You have to sign up for a trial offer for some credit monitoring service. If you cancel before the 30 days are up you wont have to pay.. Its kind of a hassle but you can do it. If nothing else it will give you a general idea of where you stand.
