Has anyone had any luck or any special letters requesting items to get off just a few months earlier than the 7 years. My 7 BK items are due to fall off within the next 7 months but we would like to try for a house around March which is about 4 months to early. Any ideas? MistyEyed
Misty, Which CRA? I sucessfully had a Ch.7 due to fall of in 7/02 removed from Transunion. Honestly, if the BK is that old, it will not affect you in the mortgage process. I know, having recently been through the application process. cariba
Actually my actually BK judgement was removed off of all except TU a few months ago from Junum. However all the old accounts are still on there that refer back to the BK. I have disputed them and all came back verified. I am hoping that maybe since its so close it will fall off. MistyEyed
Not entirely sure. Actually Junum disputed them all for me so I have no idea what they said. I did send back 2-3 letters asking them to send me back information regarding how they verified the information and who they talked to, which I have not received back yet. MistyEyed
