I have been recently contacted by Global Financial about receiving a credit card from them. The have stated that they are a credit restoration company and that I will be able to fix blemishes on my credit by "purchasing" their card. Does anyone know if this is a reputable company or should I pass on their offer?
So what are the particulars of the offer such as the type of card (Visa/Mastercard), secured or unsecured, annual percentage rate (interest rate)? Are there annual/monthly/weekly/daily fees associated with this card? What will the credit limit be? Are you also aware that some collection agencies are now masquerading their colleciton activities with 'Credit Card' offers that are simply veiled attempts to get you to reaffirm a debt you owe! Ask yourself this, if the product is so good, then why does the company have $6.00/hour telemarketers bothering you at home to apply? Michael
They offered a MC, no fees and no interest rate (this is the part that set my alarms off) with a credit limit of 1000. Always believed if it sounds too good to be true ...
you could go to ripoffreport.com and read the 49 complaints listed against them. http://www.ripoffreport.com/results...rchtype=0&submit2=Search!&q5=global+financial they respond to BBB complaints only it seems. The fact that they have 89 just this year and there is a mention of the consumer affairs office and what you get is a scam.
