This post is mostly just an FYI for people who are curious. I had never read about this on the GM Card before so I thought I would post my findings. Today when I was checking my balance online I noticed my available credit was much larger. I called their customer service to find out they had increased my credit limit automatically the other day by 1500 bucks up to a 4000 dollar limit. I never requested this, and I was actually going to in the next couple weeks, so that saved me an inquiry. Needless to say, I'm quite happy! JPARTDQ
That's great,the funny thing about getting any auto cli's is they give a person credit when they don't need it in the least ,but if someone needed it then it would get denied real fast.credit card companies can be really very funny when it comes to auto cli's.Just use credit wisely,and watch it grow!
I've had this card since March, so not terribly long! I've carried a large balance, but have been paying it off large chunks per month... not sure if that has anything to do with it. JPARTDQ
