I know a few of you recently got the GM card. I got the card but the balance transfer checks have not arrived yet. Did you GM card holders have nay problem receiving your B/T checks?

Most credit card companies send card on one day, pin number on another day, checks on another day.

They may also be sent from different places...

I received a pin number one week before I got the card (NOT GM)...

GEORGE, I hope that is what's going on here. My pin # arrived a week after I got the GM card.

I had forgotten that Nordstrom sent me the pin # first. I got the card later.

You can go to www.gmcard.com and request transfers online if you like.

The checks give you the 5%.... If you do the BT on line, no 5%.

As long as you ask for the B/T during the Intro period, the online b/t counts toward the 5%.

    David,

No grace period and no fees.

Jim, I called them and did a balance transfer. I never received checks. I have had the card for 1 month.

    Thanks Roni,

I am going to do that too. I am just going to BT from Nextcard anyway. I'll make a few paymetns to get R1 status on both cards and pay them off.
