I called GM Card customer service for lowering my rate and increase credit limit. He told me there was no lower rate available for me. I also asked for limit increase without hard inquiry. He told me let give us a try and the computer came back either pulling or without hard inquiry. I asked me how long it took. He told me it took about a min. He asked me income, rent or own and where I employed and how long. The result: Increase $1000 without hard inquiry. I told him I took it. Now my GM card has $2500 credit limit. Ron.

2.5k ...for you Ron?. Close it!. Why do you need that card. If I were you I would get rid of all cards under 5k limit and interest over 12.9%.
