I received an e-mail from GM stating I was approved for a GM card for $1,000. It said that I would receive the card in 10 days and I should click on the URL below to register my account. How did they get my e-mail address? I have never applied with them. With those pitiful limits I'm sure the card comes equipped with a 23% apr? Has anyone else rec'd this offer?

GM is a household bank card. Do you have any
other cards through them (Orchard, HB, etc.)? It could be how you got the offer.

Regardless, I would call and get the terms before I decline.

Has had the card for over 6 months. They are stingy with increases and stingier with APR reductions. I paid this account off before the Intro BT offer expired but I kept the account open for emergencies.

    Good Luck
