Gmac Mortgage

    Can anyone tell me if GMAC pulls all 3 CBs? Or if it varies in different states?

    We have a GMAC Mortgage, and back in Aug 01 they pulled all three. We are in Michigan. We refinanced in July 02 they did not pull a credit report.

    Thanks Desdemona for replying. I am just trying to shop around before I decide on which mortgage company I will use.

    i just applied with gmac for mortgage..yep all three. happy to say with all the help here, i got preapproved! thanks all..this board rocks.

    Hey mystery, if you don't mind giving it up, what did they approve you for and on what scores?

    Alot of people have bad things to say about GMAC but so far my experience has been excellent. They gave me a chance when NOBODY would, they gave me an A paper loan before I started my credit repair, I had nothing but bad credit, 1 single pays as agreed back from 94' that was only open for 3 months. They pulled all 3. The bad thing is they are very slow to update, only about every 3 months. When they gave me my mortgage I had 2 scores, Efx 550, TU 575. I have noticed that they do account reviews as well.
