DH turned in his Smart Buy on 12/12/02. GMAC began reporting it as an early termination, defaulted on contract 1/2003. I have been going round and round with them since. Evil Ex actually took it back into investigation (surprised me!), and I just got the latest update. Early termination defaulted as of 11/2002!!!!!!! I have narrowed it down to GMAC's fault, but I can't figure out what to ITS them on. They marked it in dispute. I called GMAC today, and I still get the finger up the nose I dunno. I finally told her if she didn't figure it out, I was "I dunno, going to get the AG involved for FCRA violations". This has been going on since January. BTW, I did find out, since we turned in the vehicle EXACTLY ONE DAY EARLY, it will show as an early termination. Wish they'd told me that on the 12th. Any ideas? I called the guy that another Cneter recommended, but he sent me right back to the idiots in Dallas.
