Goals for 2002

    Well, I reached my goal of being a size 4 already *woohoo* so that one is out. I have a healthy & loving family so I pray for that to continue. I got my new Durango for Christmas so that's out as well. My other goals are credit oriented for myself and my mother. I gave her my "old" car..2000 Grand Am so that's taken care of. We need to get the remaining 2-3 items off her TU & Equifax and pay down some balances so she can buy a home this year. My hubby is paying the down payment for her :) (he's a great guy). My goals for me are....
    1. Get OUT of the 500 club!!!
    2. Hopefully reach the 650-700 club by 12-31-02.
    3. Sue all 3 CRA's in small claims court

    these are in no particular order..whatever it takes to achieve #2

    Congrats on the size 4!!! And the new Durango! (I love those!) My goals are:

    1. To stop working so much and spend more time
    with my kids.
    2. To lose some weight!!!
    3. To get OUT of the 500 club.
    4. To completely clean up my credit report.
    5. To save some money!

    Christi... thanks for making me feel welcome on this board. I love reading your posts. We have a lot in common... same age, similar prior situations before finding "good guys" to marry. Happy New Year to you!

    Congrats, Christi but I have to ask, what did you do to get the size 4? And good luck on all your credit goals. You came to the right place to achieve them!

    My goals

    -Lose 50 pounds for my Sept. wedding!

    -Increase my EQ to 750 and let the others ride to at least 700.

    -Stick to a budget.

    -Stop applying! No more store cards. I have three, three clothing stores, all issued by the same back. There is no need for other store cards because I have credit cards with much lower interest!

    I have many goals for 2002 because I already know that '02 is going to be a really great year. As for credit goals, I have 4 quick short term goals:
    1. I must get a few great prime cards with high limits and cut up all of my subprime cards
    2. I must get that ugly discharged 7 removed from all 3 reports
    3. I must get all inquiries off my reports
    4. I must barge into the 800 club

      Long term goal for 2002: I will use my 800 score status to finance some major real estate projects and business deals so I can create lasting wealth
