I just called two creditors for requesting the limit increase for my credit cards First I called NextCard for limit increase and they declined my limit increase. They're going to sent me a letter to tell me the reason. Well, they approved me for last two times and I guess they're being careful to increase the credit limit. Second, I called Bank Of America to increase the limit of Bank Of America Platinium Visa. The customer rep asked me what amout of credit limit that I wanted and I told me I don't know. He told me to go for the max amount $10,300 and I told him go for it. He came back ten seconds and he told me they raised your limit from $6300 and $10,300. Two days ago, I asked to increase my Platinum Mastercard they increased me to $9000. They're so easy to increase credit limit. Ron.

rina, I just try to increase my Next Card limit this afternoon because I thought it is easy for them to increase since it is Christmas and they approved me last two times. The limit of Next Card is $11,800. I like Bof A and they granted me limit increase for both of my card. Ron.
By "max", do you mean they can increase one's limit up to $4,000 a time? What other questions, if any, did he ask? Thanks, Saar
Saar, He asked me what amount did I want? He gave me two choices either choose the credit limit between $6300 and $10,300 or the max limit that I can go for is $10,300. I told him that I didn't know what amount that I wanted and whatever the computer approved me. He told me to go for the max. He came back and he told me "Congradulations! You have been approved for $10,300 effective immediately and he appreciate my business.... Ron.
What other question did he ask? Nothing. Easy. I think they review your payment history of the account and I hope that they didn't make any inquiry on my credit report.
