Where would one go for a good car loan offer with a score in the low 600's?

    -me
    TU 609 7/9
    EQ 609 7/9
    EXP ???

Try household automotive (householdauto.com), or Americredit. If you haven't had new lates in at least 6 months, I think you're almost guaranteed to get a loan (with *ahem*.. high interest...).

    p.s
Of course then you'd refinance after about a year or so

We got a 3.25% lease with ford motor credit and a score that was barely above 600.

9% with VW with a TU score below 600. I found myself shopping for a car unexpectedly and was afraid to be denied outright at the dealer....but it turns out they got me the best rate. I tried online with Household, Chase, my credit union, and at least one other that I can't remember - they were all high teens to low twenty. Having been there, my advice is to save the inquiries and just go to the dealer and see what they can do.
