I am now in the mid to upper 600's range. I am looking for a good credit card to apply to in order to gain some credit. I have one card by First Premier and I am keeping my nose clean with it.

I would like to apply for another. Any suggestions?

How many inquiries do you presently have on your reports? better check all 3 since you don't know which one they will pull. If you have less than 3 inquiries on all your reports I would suggest BofA Gold card. It's a good card and the online banking is a breeze.

Currently they offer 9.9% APR but depending on your credit they could approve you for a 14.9% gold card. Good luck

From my understanding, there are a few pieces of information that need to be considered that you haven't provided. Any bankrupcies or other derogs, and how recent are they? Also, what's your current debt to income ratio?

No bankruptcies. No collections. Everything is paid, although i am still struggling to get rid of "Paid Charge offs" on my credit report.
All that is on my report are school loans (current), car note (current), First Premier (current). I have more good standing acounts than bad accounts.

Go for: Citi, BofA, GM Card
After a year, go for AMEX, MBNA
