I had a Liberty travel MC, with every purchase you earned points toward vouchers for money off on hotels, airfare, etc, anywhere in the US. They discontinued the card. Does anyone know of a simular card, or at least any some kind of good travel reward program. All info/help is welcome.

American Express has a very good program called Membership Rewards. You get one point for each dollar spent on the card and they occasionaly award double points for purchases from certain kinds of merchants. Currently, they are offering double points for purchases at supermarkets and gas stations. You can convert your points on a one-to-one basis into the frequent flyer programs of their partner airlines. Between their airline partners and the frequent flyer partners of those airline you can secure awards on all of the large US Flag carriers. (e.g., Delta is a membership rewards partner, but United is not, however if you want a United ticket you can convert your point to Delta Frequent flyer miles and then redeem the for a United Ticket). The also offer hotel and merchadise awards as well.

Diner's Club has a similar program, but I don't know the details of it.

Diner's Club has a similar setup: for every dollar spent, you get two "Club Reward" points. Those can be converted to frequent flier miles (two points per mile).

There are some double mile offers (such as Chevron), and currently you get 1000 bonus miles a month for the first year, as long as you use the card once during that billing cycle.

    It's $80/year, by the way.

    Hope this helps.
