    For the letter experts:

What do you think of this letter? I will be using it in an attempt to remove the single 30-day late payment listed for this credit card account. I have a lot of business with this company, so it may be in their best interest to remove the late payment that a CSR said would be forgiven, wouldn't you agree? Please let me know if you have suggestions.

    To Whom It May Concern:

I have been a loyal customer of *company* since 2002, and a banking customer since 2003. I recently ordered my annual credit reports from the three credit reporting agencies, and I was shocked to see that my *company* credit card account was listed as a delinquent account with one payment that was 30 days late.

In January of this year, I resolved my missed payment issue by telephone with a customer service representative. I asked the representative if *company* could forgive one missed payment since I had never made a late payment in the past. It was my understanding that the late payment would not be counted against me.

Clearly, the late payment was not forgiven as promised by your representative. Someone in your organization made a mistake. Their mistake is hurting my credit, and I respectfully request that it be fixed immediately. Please remove the delinquent account information from all three national credit reporting agencies, or I will be forced to move my business elsewhere.

    Sincerely,
    Squeek

Is there any other info I should add, like "for account ending in 1234" or SSN?
