Well, contacted Experian to get a telephone # for Gulf States, as they had two inquiries from 2000 on there, and the last company on this planet I want to deal with is THEM. So, needless to say, I got the number, and then, while I had someone on the phone, asked about the ongoing investigations (I disputed a ton of items at once). Well, the two collections that amounted to most of my "past due" balances were deleted (due to fall off in 10 & 11/2001 anyway). WOOOHOOOOO. Anyway, it's a start, and once I can get those accounts off of my Equifax and Transunion, I'll be happy. TU, I've noticed, is reporting these accounts 5-6 months LATER than Equifax and Experian. These are bills (medical) from 1994, and therefore SHOULD fall off in 2001 (I'm not paying them anyway, as they were my ex-wife's bills). Any suggestions on how to approach TU to get them off earlier?
