Checked EQ this am, and the 2 CMI unpaid collections went bye bye, and the Nelnet account w/ 4 90+ days late from early this year was deleted. When we started he had 6 unpaid collections between his 3 reports, 4 are gone now!!! His score was in the mid 500's on EQ, and it was 678 this morning (which makes me mad because he has an unpaid collection, an old paid collection from almost 6 yrs ago, and 2 SL lates from this year--I have an old sears settlement coming off in 2 months, and that's it, and my score is only 693!! =) Now, we need to work on Sallie Mae, and one collection, and I'll have gone as far as I can on his reports too!! I just hope they don't validate the collection! Yippee! Just trying to figure out why TU is still below 600, with only 2 derogs showing.
Good job Tracy. As for TU, it is still below 600 because it is a phony,fake, good for nothing slop of a system. Next time you pull the TU, take the fico score. It's a lot more realistic.
Yeah, I know about the TU fakko. I'm hoping to get sallie mae of this week, and then I'll check it. I only want to give them my $$ once!! Unfortunately, this is the report that I need to have clean first, and fast. We need to refinance our car, and our CU only checks TU. It's my clean report, and thankfully he only has 2 derogs on this one. If I told you what our interest rate is on our car, you'd die. We now owe twice what it's worth <blush> If I knew then what I know now......

2 of them went away w. simple CA disputes. They were a few years old, and only on TU. The 2 CMI's I sent a validation letter to, and they deleted from EXP and marked EQ as paid, for some reason. Sent them estoppel, and they deleted from EQ too. Sending out a demand/intent to sue to a small CA on a small bill tomorrow. The last CA has about 10 more days until their 30 days are up for the first validation. They just verified on all 3 CR's. I would be excited if that last one folded, because it's his biggest collection. The others were all under $80, but this one is an old electric bill for a little over $500.
