Ok guys and gals I know this isn't a big deal but.....While browsing the Bestbuy.com web site. I decided to try instant credit. I know they use Household and I know that Household uses Equifax. So.....with a beacon score of 660 (after 2 years of VERY hard work I deserve it!), I digress. My first thought was to apply in the stores....but I didn't want to get denied face to face.....its to embarassing for me. I was preparing myself for the denial....it will take additional time to process your application ect. To my surprise, I was approved instantly for a 2K credit line! I know to some of you its no big deal, but to me it was a MAJOR victory! I want a Citibank so badly for the balance transfer, I can't get it.....In western PA they pull Experian, my worst report 598. I am still working on it!

No Nana, no prior Bk. I have several sub-prime cards that Household purchased, including the ACE Visa (I have never had a problem with them, I know others have). Ace Visa-Household Bank Fedelity Bank-Household Bank Orchard-Household Bank I am tempted to apply for the Household Gold Mastercard. I am not sure who they pull.....they may use Experian, and I don't want to burn an inquiry. I would like a Citibank or other Prime card to transfer all of my balances. The problem is most credit card companies pull Experian for me, because I live in Western PA.
Congratulations Terry. I had the HB Gold and they do pull Experian. I was denied the Best Buys Card...so I am ONe who thinks it is a BIG deal that you got approved.. Congrats again. 2K...damn! that's great.
